Band Camp
​
The most important part of the year for Marching Band members, band camp is held in late summer each year.
​
Camp is divided into three sections: leadership camp, percussion and guard camp, and full band camp.
Sandhills Classic
​
The Sandhills Classic Band Invitational has been held each year at McBee High School since 2012. This event host high school marching bands from all over North and South Carolina.
All-County Arts Festival
​
Sponsored by Chesterfield County Schools, the annual All-County Arts Festival is hosted by the McBee High School Music and Art Departments.
Honor Clinics
​
McBee Band students are selected to patriciate in a variety of different honor band clinics each year. Clinics include the Newberry, Winthrop, Limestone, University of South Carolina clinics; eastern district Honor Band, Region 5 Honor Band, and All-State Band.

Ensembles
​
The Bands of McBee boast several performing ensembles: The Spirit of McBee Marching Band, Beginner Band, Intermediate Band, Wind Ensemble, Trombone Choir, Musical, Concert Chorus, Jazz Ensemble, Color Guard, Percussion Ensemble, and a host of other small groups.
